FAMILY SUPPORT

DSI's Family Support Services are designed to provide assistance to individuals with disabilities and their families in many aspects of daily life. These include providing resources to help people live on their own in the community to providing support to families needing help with the care of family member.

DSI provides supports to help individuals with disabilities live in the community.

This includes:

  • Having staff on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
  • Training to develop vocational, recreational, and interpersonal skills
  • Helping the individual develop relationships and connections in the community
  • Helping the individual find a roommate (if that is what they want)
  • Finding financial resources to help make the purchase of a home a reality

We will help you find the home you want
We have highly trained staff to assist you in finding a home, roommates, and financial resources to make your own home a reality.

We establish support systems for you
We have established procedures and staff on call (24 hours, 7 days a week) to assist you.

Support systems can include training in vocational, recreational, and interpersonal skills based on your preferences. Through Supported Living you can develop relationships and connections in your community.
