Facilities Administrative Assistant- Columbus
The Facilities Assistant will be responsible for supporting the IT, Fleet, and Facilities Department. The position would be responsible for basic administrative duties and administrative support for IT, Facilities, Safety, and Fleet. This position requires skills to delegate tasks, lead by example and understand the influence of being a positive leader. A successful candidate should have respectable interpersonal skills and a passion for helping others.
• Promote the efficient and effective operation of the IT/Safety and Fleet department by providing assistance and administrative support as needed
• Daily management of Fleet including: making appointments and maintaining agency fleet maintenance software
• Acts as the first contact for support needs for IT and Facilities departments
• Maintain general understanding of the Mission and operation of the agency and its services and represent DSI and the people served in a positive way

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
H.S. Diploma; and related experience in fundraising and event planning preferred.
Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must meet all applicable governmental, regulatory, and funding requirements. Must be able to obtain and maintain proper driving license to transport clients. Must have reliable transportation. Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR training certification.
