JOB TITLE: INDUSTRY SALES REPRESENTATIVE
STATUS: Full Time - Columbus, IN
SUMMARY: Make sales calls to local manufacturing companies to educate them on our services. Assure acceptable financial outcomes for position. Assure timely reports and documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS: Strong Customer Service Skills, Excellent Communication Skills (Verbal & Written), Ability to make 20 to 30 outbound calls per day, Computer Skills.
• Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, and other sources.
• Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders or talks with customers on sales floor or by phone.
• Displays or demonstrates product or service.
• Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
