SUMMARY

Provide technical, administrative, and related support to clients and for the agency. Provide support as a part of a cooperative and sharing self-directed team. Provide specialist knowledge and skills by auditing, and coaching.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This job may include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Promotes DSI SPIRIT and Culture through effective leadership and development of leadership skills in their staff. Create a culture of SPIRIT throughout the entire agency.

Create a culture of customer focus and provision of quality services throughout DSI programs.

Perform audits for all program, including on-site visits where applicable.

Submit a schedule to their supervisor.

Review audit findings with the County Manager, Program Manager and send a copy to the Regional Program Manager(s), Program Directors and Compliance Officer.

Assist Program Manager to complete the corrective action as needed.

Verify completion of corrective actions within 1 month of initial audit.

Review internal incident reports documented in the Provide weekly.

Complete random audits of client files in the Provide system.

Complete investigations of suspected Abuse, Neglect or Exploitation as assigned. When investigation is complete, the report must be submitted to the Compliance Officer for signature and sent to the Regional Program Manager(s) and Program Directors for review.

Assist in ensuring the group homes are prepared for external surveys or audits and know when surveys are scheduled.

Assist with corrective action following a survey or audit in specific program areas when needed.

Assist programs with preparation for CARF, FSSA and/or other audits and ensure files are complete with required documentation.

Review staff training compliance on a weekly basis to ensure regulatory compliance. Communicate with Regional Program Managers of staff who are actively working and not in compliance immediately. Communicate with County Manager of any staff with training to be expiring within the next 7 days.

Coordinate and manage special projects as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

May include assigned tasks related to orientation or training of other employees in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s Degree and two (2) years program and administrative experience; or High School Diploma and five (5) years of program and administrative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Must meet all applicable governmental regulatory, and funding requirements.
