About DSI

Developmental Services, Inc. (DSI) is a not-for-profit organization that provides services for adults and children with disabilities in Indiana.

Established in 1975, DSI provides early intervention for infants and toddlers, residential living options, job training, placement and follow-along, respite care, family support, individualized community-based services and many other services.

To provide services that supports people with barriers to attain self-direction, inclusion, personal fulfillment, and productivity in all life areas.

Since 2017, DSI has merged with Four Rivers Resource Services, Bona Vista Programs, and LIFEDesigns to increase program quality and service area.

All of the services provided by DSI are approved or certified by the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration, Indiana Department of Public Instruction and the Indiana State Board of Health. The programs are provided to individuals without regard to race, sex, creed, age, religion, national origin, or severity of disability. DSI's operations are overseen by a representative board of directors and operated by professional staff. Selected programs meet standards established by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).

Service Area

DSI serves adults and children with disabilities by providing supports and services to assist them in living fruitful and independent lives. DSI serves over 60 counties across the state of Indiana and advocates for industry needs and opportunities by combining resources to elevate client and community relations.
