Adult Services

We are organized into 11 different adult programs. They are designed to help each individual on their personal goals, which also helps increase their independence.

In North Central Indiana, over 1,400 people are served daily by DSI Services high-quality programming that meet the highest standards. The E & E service model provides the platform and resources for clients to explore talents and interests. Benefits also include greater community integration, team building, enhanced social and physical development and a sense of pride.

Adult Day Programming & Habilitation Services

Designed to promote health, welfare, individuals' maximum potential. This includes developing social behaviors, interpersonal and cognitive skills. 

After Hours

After-hour creative learning and recreational opportunities to give clients avenues to express themselves, learn a craft, participate in wellness and exercise programs, and have fun.

Behavior Management - Adults

Therapists work alongside the individual's team (staff, family, case management) to identify behavioral challenges that hinder the individual from reaching their maximum potential. They put together strategies through a behavior support plan to monitor and appropriately address behavioral concerns.

Group Homes

Provides a clean and comfortable environment and the support and guidance to help those with special needs be as independent as possible. Residents share a spacious room with one other person, learn daily living skills and are provided with transportation, group activities and community outings.

Personal Enhancement Program (PEP)

An alternative program opportunity for individuals who desire meaningful day activities. These can include community and facility-based habilitation which focus on gaining a myriad of skills to help people with disabilities live more independently.

Supported Living

An alternative to institutional care that offers family-oriented services for eligible adults with developmental delays as well as mental, physical, or emotional challenges. Our staff assists these individuals to become as independent as possible. These services can be provided for as little as four hours per month to 24 hours per day and are provided in a home setting and in the community.

Transportation

DSI Services provides transportation for clients so that they may access services.

Wellness Coordination

Services based on the development, maintenance and routine monitoring of the client's wellness coordination plan. This program extends beyond those services provided through routine doctor/healthcare visits and is specifically designed for clients requiring assistance of a RN or LPN to properly coordinate their medical needs.
