The Indiana Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) has announced the launch of the Direct Service Workforce Grant. Direct service workers are essential in providing the day-to-day, in person HCBS supports necessary for people to live, work, and participate in their communities. FSSA is dedicating $130 million throughout Indiana to this opportunity with a requirement that 95% of funding awarded flow through to direct service workers.

Developmental Services Inc. is excited to use our allotted funds to provide one-time bonuses, retention bonuses, and recruitment bonuses to eligible direct service workers. DSI plans to use 70% of our allotted funds to provide one-time bonuses; 15% of allotted funds on retention bonuses, 10% of allotted funds for recruitment activities and bonuses, and 5% for wraparound benefits.
